What is Finding Nemo the Musical about?

The story follows Marlin, an anxious and overprotective clownfish dad living in the Great Barrier Reef with his adventurous, imaginative kid, Nemo. When Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic odyssey across the ocean to find his son.

Along the way he gets help from lovable characters: optimistic and forgetful Dory, the laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang. Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves, and to learn that the hardest part of loving someone means sometimes letting go.

Who wrote the music for the show?

The score comes from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the award-winning songwriting team behind Frozen and Coco. They wrote the book, music and lyrics.

Lindsay Anderson adapted the book, and Myrna Conn adapted and arranged the music and orchestrations.
