Highly Recommend!
Let me start by saying: I knew nothing about the area I purchased in. All I gave Jon was a vision of what I wanted somewhere in North Carolina, and I fully relied on his expertise. I originally thought I wanted to be about 30 minutes from where I ended up, but Jon redirected me to Franklin… and I fell completely in love with the area.

Jon was incredibly thorough, walking me through everything: the community, the comps, the pros and cons, and why the home he found was truly “the one.” He was right.

But what impressed me most is that his support didn’t end when the deal closed. I live in Florida, and he immediately offered to help with deliveries, check on the house, and oversee work being done. And not only did he offer, he showed up!! No excuses, no complaints, just genuinely happy to help.

It’s one thing for a realtor to provide great service during the purchase. It’s another to continue showing up afterward with the same level of care. Jon has been there for the entire process:
• Understanding the area
• Connecting me with trusted local professionals
• Recommending places to eat and events to enjoy
• Helping coordinate home repairs—and making sure they’re done right
• Checking on the property when I can’t be there

I’m truly blown away by his dedication. So impressed and so grateful for everything he’s done.

We recently purchased a property in NC and were fortunate enough to have Jon Tharpe as our realtor. From my first conversation with Jon I was impressed by two things. His very in-depth knowledge of NC real estate and flawless communication.
This property purchase became complicated largely because NC was hit by hurricane Helene causing huge devastation to the area in which we were buying. We had to navigate the fact that the property was initially inaccessible. Possibly damaged and required additional inspections by lenders. Attorneys with no power and initially incommunicado! Deliveries that were either impossible or not possible in a timely manner…..and so it went on!
Throughout all this Jon was able to guide us, navigating and usually anticipating any problems that occurred. Always polite, always calm and let us know what was happening or what to expect at any given turn. This property transaction became very complicated due to Helene and was not a normal situation! Thanks to Jon’s efforts we were finally able to close the deal.
Over the years we have purchased many properties and have never had the pleasure of dealing with a realtor like Jon. In our opinion Jon is in a league of his own. Consistently going above and be……way beyond! Always professional, always courteous and also a heck of a nice guy! We always felt that Jon put us snd our needs above everything else!
If you are in the market to buy or sell property in NC we hope you are fortunate enough to have Jon as your realtor. We absolutely do not believe you could do better!

Highly recommend John. Took a couple years to find the right property, over that time I developed trust for John, had him look at many properties for me knowing he understood my needs. Finally finding the right deal John moved very quickly to get it under contract. I have experienced many real estate transactions but discovered North Carolina law is very different. Jonathan is hands down the best in the area. He and his team worked with us every step of the way. His insight, knowledge, and suggestions coupled with his great sense of humor helped us in resolving the bizarre issues that arose during the purchasing and closing process. If you ever need a Real Estate Agent, Jon Tharp and his team with Keller Williams are top notch!! He thoroughly explained the approach and strategy he planned on using to market the house when we met with him. The advice we received when listing my mother’s house in Franklin, NC was right on the money. He understood the current market conditions and suggested a listing price, that to be honest, we thought was much too high. He said he expected that we would get that plus $10K to $15K over asking before it was all done. The photos and panoramic walkthrough/tour of of the house showed the home at its very best along with an excellent narrative describing key features of the home and the surrounding area. We “went LIVE” on Thursday evening, April 29th not only on multiple MLS sites, but Zillow, Realtor.com and others. By Friday afternoon, April 30th we had already received multiple offers ranging from $11k to $21K over asking price. By Friday 6PM we had an offer to purchase contract in hand. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience and can’t thank Jon and his team enough. They are true professionals in every sense of the word.

Working with Jon was an outstanding experience! From the initial listing to the final sale, his expertise and dedication were evident. He put together a great marketing strategy that attracted a lot of interest. He was always available and thanks to his efforts, our house sold quickly and for a great price. I highly recommend.
